I wanted to share that one of the things I do is I have a defined weigh in day for my weight loss challenge. I don’t follow the practice of weight myself every day or every other day. I think that is self defeating in that it puts unneeded pressure on you and one should be focused on the basics of the weight loss program rather than the weight on a daily basis. I do my weigh in first thing Friday morning. It’s just a day that I picked to do this. No specific reason for Fridays other than it’s the end of the week and a good time to see my progress. It’s also a good day to do this, that way if you have done really good, you can see how much or how less you have to be over the weekend. If one has done really good, you could possibly treat yourself. If not, well, then there is always next week.
As a runner, I get more and more strict as the months get closer to April. One would start letting their goals guide them so that each weigh in day would yeild desirable results. Yes, there are going to be days in which there was little or no progress. This is true regardless if you are a runner or not.
