Can’t do without the things you like? Candy, Soft Drink, Chips, Cookies etc? Who says you have to? Consuming in moderation and controlling your portions is the key. Just because you change your lifestyle, doesn’t mean you have to say good bye to the things you like. You may have to S L O W down or even stop a bit to get your health and weight going in the right direction for a while. But, that is a small price to pay for your long term health.
There is nothing being said that you couldn’t indulge yourself later after your course has been corrected and progress is being made. If you continue to indulge, then weight loss is not that important to you as what you are eating or drinking. Your actions prove what your priority is. Progress does take time and patients is required. So the next time you go to eat or drink something, stop and think about what you are dong. Is that candy bar really that important to you? We have chocolate fudge protein bars that are just as good, if not better than some of those candy bars you find in the stores only in this case, the protein bar is far better for you.
You could think of it this way, when you go to put gas in your car, you have choices as to the grade of gas you want or need to use. Well, you have your choices as to the quality of food or drink that you consume each day. Think about it…..
