I’m sure there are some that may say, Hey! I really don’t have the money right now. And that is fine. There are those times where this is a valid excuse. However, there are those who hide behind this excuse. Now, let’s start looking at Defeating that Enemy – You!

We already covered step #1 in the process of defeating the enemy, and that is identifying some excuses that can hinder progress. Now, let’s dig a little deeper.

Ok, as asked in the post “Are You Your Worst enemy?“, you need to ask yourself, “Am I being True to myself?” After you get past the excuses and start replacing the excuses with reasons why you should get into action and either loose weight and/or start getting healthier. Once you start having positive reasons instead of negative excuses, your motivation will start to increase.

Fear can also be a de-motivator that helps you create excuses instead of good reasons to get into action. So, after you throw away all the excuses, start developing reasons, and your fear starts subsiding, your motivation will increase even more.

At this point you have started to defeat the enemy within – You!. The foundation that has kept you where you’ve been has started to collapse. Change is not always easy, so don’t beat yourself up if you find change hard. Taking baby steps thus working towards change does work.

Still not getting it? Not getting into the right grove? Not finding that perfect solution? First, start comparing yourself to a car. Think of it this way, if you don’t steer it right, you’ll crash. If you don’t properly maintain your car, it will start having problems. The same holds true for you! If you don’t take care of yourself, you’ll get sick. If you don’t manage yourself properly, you’ll gain weight. It all begins and ends with YOU! Any excuses you make will only delay or prevent you from doing what is right. Face it, you are your own worst enemy and you need to start learning how to defeat the enemy within. Absolutely any reason you give for not taking action, is just an excuse to delay or put off what needs to be done.

Let’s first start with some reasons (excuses) not to take action:

1. No Money (lost job, to many bills, etc)
2. No Will Power
3. Afraid what I find won’t work
4. Don’t like shake mixes
5. No Time
6. My husband (or wife) won’t approve
7. To Expensive
8. I don’t want to give up what I like to eat or drink
9. I can’t do without food
10. I don’t like exercising

Well, if any of the above 10 come close to describing you, I hate to tell you this, but, they are just excuses not to do something! Anything at all that prevents positive action from being taken to better your health, is just an excuse. You know, that “E” word that can get in the way of ANYTHING you need to do.

Are you True to yourself? Or, are you on a See Food Diet (See food you eat it)? Here’s the problem: If you eat everything in site and you are not burning enough calories to compensate for the intake, well, then, the food has got to go somewhere, doesn’t it. After all, if you put trash in a trash can, doesn’t the can get full after a while? Well, so do you and you’ll keep growing if you are not watching what you are eating and burning enough calories to compensate for it.
Ok, the light bulb turns on and it hits you, Oh my word, I have to loose weight, so now, the breaks are hit and you try to find the best way to loose weight and it seems like it’s going to take forever to get where you want to go, right? Well, Wrong! Keeping in mind that it’s recommended to loose 1 to 2 pounds a week, following Herbalife’s weight loss program will get you there. While you don’t have to exercise to do this, it is recommended as it does help!

Isn’t it time to see the light? Sometimes it takes changing one’s habits, making sacrifices, and eliminating some things from your diet to get the ball rolling. If you are reading this and you are feeling like this is you, that the time is come, I do offer a FREE consultation with BMI testing with no obligation. Your only obligation is whether or not you are being true to yourself by staying the course. Stop being your worst enemy and start being your own best friend!

Can’t do without the things you like? Candy, Soft Drink, Chips, Cookies etc? Who says you have to? Consuming in moderation and controlling your portions is the key. Just because you change your lifestyle, doesn’t mean you have to say good bye to the things you like. You may have to S L O W down or even stop a bit to get your health and weight going in the right direction for a while. But, that is a small price to pay for your long term health.
There is nothing being said that you couldn’t indulge yourself later after your course has been corrected and progress is being made. If you continue to indulge, then weight loss is not that important to you as what you are eating or drinking. Your actions prove what your priority is. Progress does take time and patients is required. So the next time you go to eat or drink something, stop and think about what you are dong. Is that candy bar really that important to you? We have chocolate fudge protein bars that are just as good, if not better than some of those candy bars you find in the stores only in this case, the protein bar is far better for you.

You could think of it this way, when you go to put gas in your car, you have choices as to the grade of gas you want or need to use. Well, you have your choices as to the quality of food or drink that you consume each day. Think about it…..

Continuing from the previous post about good Cellular Nutrition, we all think the outside is important. But, your health goes beyond the outside. The inside is more important than the outside, though, we don’t always think that way. Granted, weight is a good warning sign.
So, if you reach your goal weight range and then stop you efforts, you are missing the point.
Yes, it’s great that you reached your desired weight range. Loosing weight is only 1 part of the problem, another part is your health and how you take care of it. Just because you lost weight, doesn’t mean that your job is done. You’ve only just begun! You don’t stop taking care of your car just because it’s older do you? You keep your car well maintained so it lasts a good long time. Taking care of your health at the cellular level, is your best bet! Starting your day with Herbalife’s Formula 1 Meal Replacement Shake is a good way to get started.

You see them all the time. Additives listed on the nutrition label on every product. They can range from sugars, salt, caffeine, oils and the list goes on. While each additive (ingredient) effects the product in some way, the effect can go beyond the product as well. We’ve all done it, we all go blindly and pick up something we like to consume each day or week. But, are we realizing what we are putting into our mouth each day?

You are what you eat

You are what you eat

Some impulses are automatic when grabbing something you want. One time I went to get a drink and I caught myself and thought “Why am I getting a drink, I’m not thirsty!” How does this example fit with this subject? It’s the same thing, we all grab for things we want out of habit not even realizing what each item’s additives or ingredients may contain. Whether it’s a soda, chips, or even salad dressing, we can all be impulsive to the things we want. We all can unknowingly add to the calories we take in on a daily basis. Isn’t it time to get smarter and not fatter?
Oh, and what about those people who never seem to get fatter? Size isn’t always the issue either! In their case, ask yourself this question – What’s going on inside? Never judge a book by it’s cover. Though, they may look good on the outside, who knows what’s going on inside! Consider that the next time you see someone who looks good!
This is why good Cellular Nutrition is important. We ALL need it!

Granted, everyone’s needs differ, but, everyone needs are similar too! Everyone needs good health, good finances and so fourth. So, the question for you readers is “Which way are you getting fed?” Are you relying only on the rss feeds as your source for getting fed? Or, are you actually taking advantage of what Herbalife offers? There are many ways to get fed, only the thing is words alone won’t get you what you need. If all you get done is reading without the heeding, then you only gain knowledge without the benefit.

So, why not start benefiting from what you are reading and start heeding from it today!
